THE STORY

I didn't set out to become the Brow Lady.
But I'm glad I did.
THE BEGINNING
In 2010, I inherited a small studio in Arizona that did one thing — eyebrows. Waxing, shaping, tinting. That was it.
I'll be honest with you. I barely did my own brows. I didn't wear makeup. I didn't think much about any of it. I was a corporate woman with a 30-year career in IT and a full life that had nothing to do with beauty.
But I took the studio. And I decided to figure it out.
What I learned early — before anything else — was color. How to mix a tint that matched someone's lifestyle. Not too dark. Not too light.
Just right for their face, their coloring, their life. I built an entire repeat business on that one skill. Clients coming back every four to six weeks for a shape and a tint because it made a difference they could feel.
That was the foundation. Brows first. Always brows first.
THE MOMENT IT BECAME PERSONAL
My mom was a breast cancer patient. Hair was everything to her. And I watched what losing it did to her — not just physically but to the way she saw herself. And then I watched it grow back. And I saw her come back with it.
That stayed with me.
Then I had my first cancer patient in the chair. She had no eyebrows. Months of chemotherapy had taken them. I did her brows. And I watched the same thing happen — that moment where she looked in the mirror and recognized herself again.
That instant gratification. That transformation. That's when the Brow Lady made sense to me.
It was never about makeup. It was never about vanity. It was about dignity. About seeing yourself. About the small things that make you feel whole.

WHY I DO IT DIFFERENTLY
I learned brows in a different generation. Before the mapping strings. Before the Instagram templates. Before everyone started drawing the same brow on every face.
I shape first. Based on your face structure, your features, the natural frame you were born with. Then I map for symmetry. Because your brows should fit you — not a trend.
And I believe in less.
I would rather give you a softer result you can build on than go too dark and take away your options. You can always add to soft. You can never take away from too dark. That philosophy is in everything I do.
I've sat across from clients with full, beautiful brows and told them — you don't need PMU. Come back for a tint. Maintain what you have. Because my job is to give you the right answer for your face, not to sell you a service you don't need.
That kind of honesty is rare. I know that. But it's the only way I know how to work.
SOFTMAP
Before I ever tattoo your brows, I show you exactly what they'll look like.
That's SoftMap — my signature consultation process. You come in, we shape your brows, we map the design together, and I apply a henna tint so you can see the result on your face before any permanent decision is made. You leave with brows. You live in them for a few days. You come back knowing exactly what you want.
No guessing. No pressure. No surprises.
It's the consultation I wish every PMU client had access to before they committed to a needle.
BROWLADY CARES
Some of my most meaningful work happens outside of the booking calendar.
BrowLady Cares was built for clients navigating hair loss from chemotherapy, alopecia, and other medical conditions. Because I've seen firsthand what brows mean to someone who has lost them — and I believe that kind of restoration shouldn't be out of reach.
If you or someone you love is navigating hair loss, reach out. Let's talk about what's possible.

I've been doing this long enough to know that the right brows change how you move through the world. Not because of how they look to others — but because of how you feel when you look in the mirror.
If you're ready to find out what your brows could look like, with no pressure and no commitment — start with a consultation.
